Request A Quote

Send us your site details for pricing on installations, upgrades, replacements or planned works. We work across Durban and the KZN coast, with support for commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning sites from Glen Anil to the South Coast.

Start with the site address and what needs doing

The quickest way to get an accurate quote is to send the site address, suburb and a short note on the work needed. Tell us whether it is a cold room, freezer room, display chiller, split air-conditioning, ducted systems or a full plant room job. If the site is in Glen Anil, Durban North, Umhlanga, Pinetown, Ballito or further down the coast, we can usually plan the right technician and access window straight away.

Please also mention if the work is for a new installation, a replacement, an upgrade or a planned maintenance visit. That helps us price labour, materials, lift access, after-hours work and any shutdown time needed. If you are dealing with load-shedding, salt air corrosion or recurring breaker trips, add that too because it can affect the scope and the parts list.

Photos and readings help us price faster

Photos save time and reduce back-and-forth. Send clear pictures of the equipment, the nameplate, the electrical isolator, the indoor and outdoor units, the walk-in door, and any visible damage or leaks. For refrigeration systems, temperature readings and recent alarm history are very useful. If you have a log sheet, send the last few entries so we can see whether the room is holding temperature or drifting out at certain times.

  • Equipment make, model and capacity if it is visible
  • Room size in metres, or shelf dimensions for display chillers
  • Power supply details, including single or three phase
  • Any access limits, delivery hours or mall rules
  • Preferred timing for a site visit or shutdown

If the site is in a busy retail or hospitality area, please tell us about trading hours and delivery restrictions. Some jobs can only happen before opening or after closing and that affects the programme. A clean set of photos and a few readings can turn a rough estimate into a useful quote, often in one round of feedback.

What we need for installations, upgrades and replacements

For new work, we need enough detail to size the system correctly and price the installation properly. That includes the room usage, product load, target temperature, insulation condition, door traffic and whether the space is used for chilled goods, frozen stock or general storage. For air-conditioning, tell us the area size, ceiling height, number of people in the space and whether the site has glass, server equipment or high heat loads.

For replacements, let us know what is currently in place and why it is being changed. Is the issue age, repeated failures, power consumption, gas leaks or parts that are no longer practical to repair? If the current system struggles during summer or after load-shedding, that is important. We can then quote for like-for-like replacement or a proper upgrade, depending on what the site actually needs.

Planned works and service contracts are quoted differently

Planned maintenance is usually quoted on a scheduled basis, while service contracts are set up around the number of visits, system criticality and reporting needs. If you want monthly, quarterly or seasonal servicing, send us the number of units, the site locations and whether you need temperature logging, compliance checks or breakdown call-outs included. That lets us build a pricing structure that matches the way the site runs.

  • Cold room servicing and freezer servicing
  • Display chiller servicing for retail floors
  • Aircon maintenance for offices, shops and industrial areas
  • Leak detection and electrical fault finding
  • Temperature logging and compliance checks

Where a site has several branches, we can quote each location separately or roll it into one contract. That is often easier for bookkeeping and makes it clearer which unit is costing what. It also helps when one branch in Durban North needs a different frequency from a site in Ballito or on the South Coast.

What happens after you send the request

Once we receive your request, our team reviews the details and checks whether we can price from the information supplied or whether a site visit is needed. Priscilla Naidoo in operations coordinates the next step, while Aiden Pillay handles project pricing where drawings, load figures or multiple systems are involved. If the job is service related, Zanele Khumalo will help line up the contract details and timing.

For straightforward repairs or small maintenance jobs, we may be able to give a guide price quickly. For larger installations or replacements, we will usually confirm the scope first so the quote is accurate and there are no surprises later. If something looks urgent, such as a room not holding temperature or a unit tripping repeatedly, say so in the message and we will treat it as a priority.

A few details that avoid delays on the day

Small bits of information make a big difference when a technician arrives on site. Tell us who will meet the team, where to park, whether there is secure loading access, and if any permits or sign-in rules apply. For industrial sites, please mention any safety requirements such as PPE, induction or a permit-to-work process. In some buildings the main challenge is simply getting access to the plantroom without delaying tenants.

  • Best contact number and on-site contact name
  • Operating hours and preferred visit times
  • Any live stock, production or trading restrictions
  • Breaker positions, isolator access and room keys if relevant
  • Whether the site has had recent power cuts or flood damage

If you are unsure about the technical detail, do not worry. Give us what you can and we will ask the right follow-up questions. That way we can price the work properly, not just guess at it and hope for the best. A clear request saves time for everyone and usually gets the job moving quicker.

Questions we get asked

What details should I send for a quote?

Send the site address, suburb, type of equipment, what needs doing, photos, and any readings or fault history. If it is urgent, mention that in the first line.

Do you quote for both repairs and planned maintenance?

Yes. We quote for breakdown call-outs, planned maintenance, service contracts, upgrades, replacements and new installations across Durban and the KZN coast.

Can you price more than one branch at once?

Yes. We can quote one site or several branches, including different maintenance schedules for each location if needed.
