The site provides information about commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning services in Durban and along the KZN coast, including cold rooms, freezer rooms, display chillers, planned maintenance, breakdown call-outs and service contracts.

2. Information on Services and Enquiries

Before work starts, the scope, call-out details, access conditions, site risks and any spare parts or materials needed must be confirmed with the client. In many cases, especially in Durban humidity, on the South Coast or in busy retail sites, a proper inspection is needed before a final cost can be given.
- All pricing is subject to site conditions and equipment condition.
- Lead times may vary during load-shedding, peak summer periods and public holidays.
- Service contracts are governed by the written terms issued for that contract.
3. Customer Responsibilities at Site
Clients must provide safe access to equipment, clear working space and accurate information about faults, temperatures, alarms and previous repairs. If plant rooms, rooftops, loading bays or cold storage areas are restricted by building rules or municipal requirements, the client must arrange access in advance.
Where refrigeration or air-conditioning equipment is located in a shared facility, the client remains responsible for notifying tenants, staff or security where needed. If power supply issues, water ingress, poor ventilation or damaged electrical installations affect the system, these conditions must be disclosed before work starts. We are not responsible for delays caused by unsafe conditions, missing access keys, or site rules that are not shared in time.
4. Limitations of Liability
Coastal Cooling Systems and Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd take reasonable care to keep the website accurate and operational, but we do not guarantee that the site will always be available, error free or free from interruptions. Technical faults, maintenance work or network issues may affect access from time to time.
To the fullest extent allowed by South African law, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, spoilage caused by delayed reporting, or damage arising from information used without proper verification. This includes delays caused by power cuts, equipment failure, supplier shortages, traffic congestion between Durban North, Umhlanga, Pinetown, Ballito and the South Coast, or any event outside our control.
